Sunday 19 August 2012: Hair
This is Lucy who's become a very good friend of mine. She was diagnosed with Ovarian cancer two years ago and has had some pretty heavy duty treatment, including surgery and many rounds of chemo. She lost all her hair with the chemo but it's been growing back slowly but surely. This is her first hair do and was much cause for celebration. We're having lunch in honour of her hair! I took a photo from the side surreptitiously to get the full hair loveliness :-)
Sorry I haven't been able to comment much - hopefully later tonight will be a chance for a catch up.
Many thanks for comments and hearts on yesterday's image; it made the spotlight (which is still a thrill for me!)
