Sunday 19 August 2012: Swarm

Then it's cold.

A complete turnaround weather-wise that was, with clear blue skies and warm sun over an outdoor brunch that taunted and guilted me into mowing the grass, changing to muggy light cloud whilst I took a scrubbing brush and some Fairy Liquid to the bike onto the odd spot of rain as I set up a lazy Sunday blip by pointing a tripodded and remotely wired camera at these daisies on steroids and waited for the bugs to ignore the fact there was a tripodded and remotely wired camera staring them down. Didn't even have to stop eating my lunch to catch this stack of hoverflies going about their business.

And now it's been raining solid for an hour and a half putting the kibosh on all thoughts of a nice evening's walk to finish off the weekend. Bugger.
