Friday 17 August 2012: Cavanaugh Island Restoration - Construction

Here's a picture of a recent completed engineered logjam. While it was constructed outside of the lowflow channel we're hoping the channel migrates closers to the structure and ulimately captures the constructed pool in front. Some people have started calling ELJs a fish hotel of sorts. Here's to hoping and only time will tell...
