Thursday 16 August 2012: Wellington Extravaganza Day 1
So as promised the theme continues.....
Andrea, Marty, Robert and myself jumped on a plane this morning heading to Wellington! It was my first time in NZ and Marty's first time outside Oz (unless you count Tassie) so it was exciting times!
First port of call, after dumping the bags at hotel was one of the many fine craft beer bars! This one is the Fork n Brewer and as you might be able to work out from my dodgy camera phone ,has many beers on tap and each with their own crazy tap font !
Wellington as it turns out is a great city filled with heaps of really friendly people! We met one of the nicest guys ever... Lester the Legend! What a guy!
Andrea and I slinked off and had a very nice Birthday dinner before have a night cap and chatting into the wee small hours with some cool beer geeks and Brewers!
