Dahl Celebration with the LSO

After violin lesson, we (Will and I) headed into London. We walked from KC to Brunswick Centre to return some shoes to Office, had lunch and then walked to the Barbican Centre to join in with the things going on before the LSO's Dahl Celebration Concert. He had a go at playing a flute, played a violin and was complimented on his 'Jingle Bells' and took part in a singing workshop where he learnt how to sing 'Naughty' from Matilda. After that he found out he was on the front row of the auditorium and was very happy as he could watch the violin's fingers!

We then headed down towards St. Paul's looking for Christmas trees. As we headed towards the 'wibbly wobbly' bridge he shouted "No Mummy, I don't want to go for a swim! Please don't make me?" Cue many swivelling heads. He will get me arrested one day!

A wander through Borough Market, picking up a few Christmas trees for him and a large hot cider for me, and we were on the tube back to Kings Cross. A good day all in all.
