Monday 22 December 2008: The elusive meal
Back here again (or, more precisely, here) for a decidedly less frosty but nonetheless enjoyable stroll through the woods.
What was less enjoyable was the fact the nice wee cooncil-run cafe was closed until 5th Jan. (Closed? Until 5th Jan?)
Then I pinned my hopes on a nice wee focaccia and perhaps a side of chips at the Fruitmarket, but we arrived at two minutes past four to be told that the kitchen closes at four. (Closes? At four?)
Five hours later, I was eventually pacified with an even nicer than usual delivery from our favourite Indian.
All this relaxing is proving to be rather hard work.
