Tiny Fish

10.0C with morning of lighter cloud with bright spells and an afternoon of smir and light rain showers. Light ESE/S/SSE breeze.

Apothecary7's day off.

About 10 am we went to Westport beach with Maeve the Deerhound and had a long walk towards Machrihanish. Not long after we set out towards Machrihanish Apothecary7 was caught out by a wave running up the beach and got wet feet. Socks were removed and set out on a driftwood log and left to be picked up on the way back. Wet shoes back on and the walk continued. There were one or two other people on the beach with their dogs but all spread out so far that we more or less had the whole beach to ourselves. There was enough light to make the breaking waves illuminate as they crested before breaking.

As we walked along I noticed (found) this tiny fish which had been washed up on the sand.

We remembered to collect the socks on the way back to the car.

Glenbarr for lunch.

Later Apothecary7 was cutting lino for print making.

Afternoon music (and talk and news) ... BBC Radio Scotland.

Note: The fish was mainly blue and silver.
