What a laugh!

We have been on a blip meet to meet the lovely lovely lovely Mrs Withers, did i mention that she is a lovely lady.

We set off early as the AA route planner said it would take 2 and half hours to drive there, the sat nav said a different time, where i drove really slowly, stopped off for a cup of tea and still arrived early.

We were greeted by Mrs Withers and her daughters Eve and Lucy, where we had scones and cream and a cup of tea before deciding what to do, we decided against going out to a place that would cost a fortune and head into Stratford for a look around the town and see all the Shakespeare sights, first stop was H& M where Tubs and Eve were trying to see who could wear the highest shoes, then continued our trip down to the river where the kids had icecreams, we were greeted by the tagged ASBO swans who were hanging around in big groups, then walked over the bridge of the canal to see the statues of Hamlet and others that the kids climbed on for us to take pictures of.

Then walked up into town to see the birth place of William Shakespeare with a trip on the way to a sweetie shop, Accessorise spending more money than if we had gone out in the first place, the tour continued with the rising bollard that knocked the local postie off his bike hitting him in his b*lls. Before we ended up here in front of Shakespeares birth place being abused by Japanese tourists for getting in their way.

After this we headed back to the car, we had a tour round in the car past Ann Hatherways house, Tubs though this was the actress who was is in the Batman movie the Dark Knight, then back home for more cake and tea, where the kids played really nicely together, Janes cat Princess Mitt Mitt decided i was fair game using my leg as a scratching post if i moved, before being rescued by Lucy.

Thank you Jane for letting us invade your house and depriving you of having any rest at all, we had a brilliant time.

Have a good evening :)
