NOT JUST FOR CHRISTMAS

Can't quite believe this Poinsettia is still going strong - I bought it in Asda just before Christmas. I have put it in a spare bedroom away from the kitties as I'm sure they would try to chew it if they got the chance - and it's poisonous to cats.

Been to Newcastle today for my yearly contact lens check up. Weather was lovely again. Town was really busy.

My daughter and son in law are coming up for the weekend and amongst other things they have requested posh bacon for breakfast, posh mince for spaghetti bolognese and posh burgers and sausages for the BBQ . So a visit to Waitrose was in order. Luckily I had £30 worth of vouchers I got from doing online surveys so I used them to pay for my shopping.
