Energetic.

This is the Elan river just below the Caban Coch dam in the Elan Valley.
Interestingly (beautiful though it is) it has suffered for many decades from the lack of freestone (gravel) because of the dam itself. Recently, Wye and Usk Foundation have added a large amount of gravel to this stretch to recreate some salmon spawning habitat.
I look forward to seeing the results...
