Double Celebration

Well we finally got to have our Christmas celebration today, a family gathering at our daughter's house. We took all the makings for lunch with us...a full turkey dinner. It was very nice too.

Lots of presents for our granddaughter.. she had a whale of a time.

It happened to coincide with my 1095th blip...three years consecutive daily journal entries. It has been an amazing journey, laughter, tears, desperation and (thankfully now resolved) uncertainty over the future of our favourite photo site.

The friendships and support from the community has been superb...and I thank you all for your comments and stars and hearts over the years.

Managed to squeeze in a blip photo..one of the baubles on the Christmas tree..and managed to make it a selfie...that is me in the silly Santa hat. A few scribbled words to mark the occasion, quickly published before the silly games start.

Normal service resumed tomorrow....
