The perfect ending to an evening

Ice-cream is to Italy what frites are to Belgium and couscous to North Africa. This is a dangerous line to pursue and I don't want to offend anyone, so let's just say that an ice-cream - gelato - after supper is the perfect ending to the day in Italy, especially in the heatwave in which we found ourselves. GROM is ubiquitous but quality doesn't suffer. I recommend melon and mango - a combination eaten by the angels in heaven.
