Enterprise

An edited back blip today from the New York trip. The original Space Shuttle Enterprise now living on all things an aircraft cariier moored on the Hudson. Below her is the original shuttle craft form the TV series of Star Treck. It did not make an appearance until series 2 as ther was no budget for extra space ships hence the use of a transporter which was much cheaper to film.

The shuttle was named Enterprise after a mass public campaign to honour the TV show. Its a good job it wasn't British other wise it might have been called "Spacy McSpace face" British blippers will know want I mean ;)
