Wednesday 21 March 2007: Wear your helmet!
I talked to someone who has a rod in their back. Once upon a time, she was riding in a jeep. It flipped over. As this happened, she was thrown out of the jeep, just before it rolled on top of her back. This scared the crap out of me. I could feel my spinal cord shatter.
I know it doesn't do a whole lot for the spinal cord, but I've started wearing my helmet more often. I think it's probably really dangerous to ride a moped, but I suppose this makes it a bit more safe... and I look goofy! I hope you enjoy this self-photo, what with the «blue steel» face and all.
