Winter coats

We were just taking a short cut through Horse Guards this morning when we encountered a changing of the guard right in our path.  It was to do with the two horses who stand immobile with their riders on Whitehall for some hours and the general public and tourists all flock to see them and have their photographs taken with the horse as their backdrop.

The extra photograph is of the Mall devoid of all traffic.  The President of Columbia was visiting the Queen and had obviously been driven round the block earlier for all to see.
