Picnic at Scotts Landing
Woke early enough to watch the sunrise. First sight was from the cliff edge point of the section. Figuring that I had just enough time to do so, I changed and ran down the steps to Southend Snells Beach and then along far enough to see around the Fidelis point to where the sun was emerging. I have included a photo from that time as an extra. The run this morning was encouraging.
Just before midday we packed a lunch and drove to the end of the peninsula; Scotts Landing. There we had a lovely play in the water, although Master Tsuken received a blow in the epigastrium from the vortex thrown by his Granny, slightly too accurately. Water play was followed by a picnic, a rest, and a further swim; for some of us anyway. Granny informed the boys on the way back to the beach house, that when we were younger there were always three swims.
The photo was taken after finishing the picnic, and before the second swim.
