It was thrilling to walk down our streets this afternoon--such a good crowd, overflowing positive energy, a full rainbow of people. As in most places today, the number of marchers outstripped any predictions--it took 90 minutes for everyone to complete the route here. That's a lot of people walking a few short blocks. May we hold on to this enthusiasm in the coming months and find a way to make a difference, find our power.

Just saw an estimate from the Police Department: 10,000 marchers here in Santa Cruz!
