Ready for the Winter of Discontent?

Yes, it's official - the recession has even started to hit our local fauna and flora. In an unprecedented move Cheltenham Borough Council has slapped on a Council Tax charge (Band D!) on hedgehog houses. With today's Bank Holiday weather blues upon us and the nights gradually beginning to draw in one only hopes that this decision will soon be reversed. The Hedgehog Times described the Council's decision as "spineless".
