Nowt as queer as folk

On our way back home today we broke the journey in Shrewsbury to get something to eat.
We didn't know that the Folk Festival had been on over the weekend & we were lucky enough to catch some of the acts that were performing in Market square.

We enjoyed the dancing & music from Kickin' Alice an Appalachion step dance group, & the fabulous Frumptarn Guggen Band who were dressed in black & white cow print costumes, I took lots of photos but there were too many people crowded around (in fact one women in a stripey top managed to get in every snap)

On our way to our pub lunch we passed these off duty Morris dancers enjoying a break, they are the Iron Men & Severn Gilders.
