Pub Quiz

Last year one of the three general stores in the village closed and reopened as a cafe bar, and very successful it has been too.  Tonight they held a quiz night to raise funds for the local community garden, so we went along to join in the fun!  Haggis, mince and clapshot served at half time, as a nod to Burns Night.  Our team didn't do very well in the quiz but we did surprisingly well on Scottish football club badges, thanks to Mike.

We took a bottle of wine as a raffle prize, and won one in return.  It's a type of recycling I suppose!
