Opera Bar, Circular Quay

Didn't die in the night of listeria poisoning, so the cheese can be accounted a success on all fronts.

Off to the Opera House tonight - Simon ("Dove Mr Beebe?") Callow gave a talk on Charles Dickens and the theatre. That man could just stand there and read out his grocery list and I'd still be mesmerized by the sound of his voice.*

No opportunities for photos in the concert hall sadly, so I settled for having a couple of wee drinks at Opera Bar beforehand and taking a token shot along the waterfront.

* Although I had a slight problem now and again concentration-wise, when THAT scene from "Room With a View"kept flashing before my eyes, with Simon Callow frolicking naked around a pond with Rupert Graves and Julian Sands.
