Which is what art should do isn't it?
Went on a photography "meetup" thing with Sue (58daisies) to the Newport Street Gallery.  The gallery exhibits items from Damian Hirst's collection.  Now I am not a fan or Hirst, but I have to say he does have an eye for things.  The main exhibits were Gavin Turk, exquisite painted bronze sculptures, specifically the one of "rubbish".  We photographed the art, and then photographed actual rubbish outside, which now seemed to have acquired a sculptural quality - excellent!

The building itself is quite something too.

I have added a few extras, including one of Sue and I behaving like kids and not showing a proper respect ... we got told off (quite rightly!).
