The Dark Side

My Darth Vadar lamp. Most people would probably be disturbed by that glowing in the darkness. Not me.

Busy. I find that I have been forthright a lot since we returned after Christmas. I have realised that sometimes, difficult messages need to be given. Students need the stark reality sometimes.

Had an amazing hour with two of my students in our extended library hours tonight. Fabulous to be able to sit and work with them, watching them form ideas, ask lots of questions and demonstrate how very capable they are. 6 months ago they barely spoke to me, now they are superstars, following a frank discussion last term. I wish all of them could be so focussed and driven.
