What I've Done

Eastnor Land Rover Experience

Not exactly a straight shot.

We had intended to stay Monday at Eastnor and travel home on Tuesday, the forecast was for heavy rain all day followed by a good day on Tues. On waking, everything was still dry - and our friends from the Camel Trophy Club were all leaving that day. So, we took the opportunity of putting the tent away dry, and not a minute too soon, as the rain started just as we got the cover on it. We intended to look round Eastnor castle and take the backroads home. Arrived at the castle an hour before it opened, and not fancying standing around in the rain for an hour, made tracks, but not before grabbing this pic. Only those who know the Land Rover Experience at Eastnor will know that the car climbing the rocks is a Tangiers Orange G4, not a Sandglow Camel. I haven't cheated too much, simply changed the colour and cloned the Camel Decal across. No doubt it breaks every copyright law going, but as a Camel owner, the peak of off roading was the Camel Trophy, and I was curious to know what it would look like ... that's my story anyhow.

A very wet drive home, arriving at about 6pm, gave Mike a chance to get busy with the LOTR Lego set of Helms Deep he got for his Birthday.
