friends with screw tops
We have friends staying...
which means the liquor cabinet is taking a bit of a hammering
so anyway
after 5 days we finally realised something important
something critical
we don't actually have a cork screw in the house!
apparently we normally have New Zealand wines
specifically
New Zealand wines with screw tops...!
Thank goodness for screw tops.
Which bring me nicely to a pet rant...
nothing gets to me like going to a restaurant
and having the waiter pour a taster from a screw top wine bottle
it's a cork hang-over which has no place with screw tops
It's not like my screw top wine is going to be corked!!!
