Friday 31 August 2012: Gearbox in HDR

A see through view on the gearbox of the gasexpansion turbine of unit EC 20.
It's the same brand (Graffenstaden) but in a better shape than this one .
This gearbox is situated between the turbine and the alternator, bringing back the appr 8000 rpm of the gasexpansion turbine to 1500 rpm of the alternator.
