...killed the found a feral cat skull under the old shed but keeping eyes groundwards is equally rewarding (if a tad weird perhaps?).

This is..what remains...of an Australian Ringneck, prolific in our garden and street and cheeky, chattering  parrots  and welcomed as the bringer of happiness by the Noongar people who call them Darlmoorluk.

And this gorgeous book recently added to the shelves and just too fascinating to resist.
Now to get the cabinet... there are skulls and stones, shells and skeletons, corals and claws to be displayed.

Also known as the '28', the name of the twenty-eight parrot is derived from its distinctive 'twentee-eight' call ...or 'vingt-huit', from an early French description.
