MMC17 - Kelso Abbey

What a change in the weather today! It was a lovely bright morning when I got into Kelso to start my run up to Kirk Yetholm to pick up the school kids. Although the village is pretty much on the edge of the Cheviot hills and is the start of the Penine Way, they hadn't had snow either yesterday.

When I was out doing my school run, a local electrician, whose wife I was at school with (and that wasn't yesterday) was fitting a new light at my back door. It's got a sensor and I've just been out to test it, now that it's dark. It certainly lights up the garden! Hopefully this will deter any potential intruders.
