Kings Cross was busy again this evening. Some of the trains were running late. All the East Coast trains were packed like sardine cans. Luckily I had a reserved seat on the 18:33 which didn't leave until 18:55.

The guard gave out an apology over the tannoy to those who had reserved seats in coach B. There was no coach B as the carriages went straight from A to C.

Some people had to stand for over 90 minutes - all the way to Doncaster. Due to the lateness of the train I missed my connection in Wakefield and had to travel to Leeds and then get another train to Huddersfield.

It's been a long day but I'm safely home.
