Secret within

Christmas may be over, but the treats keep on coming.

This is what we Scots call Cloutie Dumpling.
It's a fruit pudding which is steamed for a few hours, wrapped in a cotton cloth, tied up with string. It may not sound tasty, but let me tell you, exiled Scots would walk over hot coals for a bite of this beauty.

I sweated and toiled over this and the Florentines for the Big New Year bash. They are hidden from the boys, just in case they don't make it to the Hogmanay retreat.
One more day of work then the dash north for the haggis supper and the secret within.
