Garway Hill

We drove to Kentchurch on the border of Herefordshire and Monmouthshire to do The Garway Hill walk ( Wye Valley Walks book) which was about 6 miles. My Garmin sat-map batteries ran out and the map directions were poor so we ended up doing another 3 miles on top of the 6 miles.

The view from Garway Common are 360 degrees and you can see The British Camp on The Malvern's, The Brecon Beacons and mountains around Abergavenny. Stunning.  It was quite windy up there. The tree in the blipfoto seems to have beared the brunt of the wind over the years!

We got home about 5.30pm to meet up with friends in the next village for a meal and drink. Mrs BB has offered to drive. Yipee!!!!
