Getting there

Anyone who may have glanced at my journal over the last few days will know I have been in hot pursuit of this  aptly named "2 yellow spotted hairy blue flower wasp" or Scolia soror, belonging to the wasp family Scoliidae.  They are about 3cm in length and thankfully, do not sting humans. Try as I might I still cannot get all its stated features together, so you will just have to look at the extras to see them. It is hard to get the exposure right because the blue can only be picked up when the sun hits the wing. I will still pursue the ultimate shot, but may look for a change for my next Blip.
