LIVING JEWEL

I noticed something flying in an extraordinary way, and suddenly this rose bud (cetonia aurata) chose the half rotten day lily to be it's meal. I can tell you that this living jewel has jews to be afraid of. It's a camouflaged food monster eaten like it's scared of never having another meal this year :-)

The rose bud is 2 cm long and can be green, golden, copper, black or grey. It's sure looks ike a living jewel and pretty to have in the garden.
