Pet Peeve (Or GRR)

Every responsible dog owner should be equipped with these basic, but necessary supplies.  You would think that even the most inexperienced pet parent would immediately grasp the need for a goodly supply of dog waste bags when out walking Fido, but apparently this is not the case.

Yesterday afternoon, I happened to glance out the front windows and saw a woman walking an enormous St. Bernard past our house.  Moments later, the brute squatted on our front lawn and deposited a "calling card" the size of which would have made an elephant proud.  As soon as Fido was finished, his charming owner yanked on his leash and set off down the road without bothering to clean up the mess!  I opened the front door and called to her, "EXCUSE ME!  Would you be so kind as to clean up after your dog?"  She looked startled and flustered, and replied that she would come back later, as she didn't have a bag!

This morning I had the opportunity to admire a bright blue plastic bag filled to capacity with you-know-what sitting squarely on the lawn.  Coincidence?  I think not.
