Another hospital. This time the General Hospital in Ingolstadt. D was in pain all night and hardly slept, so it was off to hospital first thing.

A 90 minute visit and then back late morning for the results of blood tests. They showed an infection, so back late afternoon to be admitted overnight.

So, 3 visits in the day. Good thing it's only a 15 minute drive from the house. It's an older building than the one in Murnau (maybe 30 years old), but still head and shoulders above anything I've seen in our hallowed NHS. All patients are in single or double rooms. None of the 3rd World style 6 patients to a room which we have to suffer.

6 pm by the time I got back to the house for the last time. Not much Blipping opportunity. So the Blip is urban sculpture in front of the hospital.
