Gum leaves, gum nuts and blossom

This is my favourite eucalypt.  It is called Eucalyptus Erythrocorys and has just burst into flower in our village garden.  Usually the gum nuts are a brilliant crimson in colour, but this was my best shot of the blooms so I will Blip the gum nuts, maybe as a macro next Tuesday.  I will add an extra of a pic from last season so you can see the colour. It is quite a sight to see these flower laden trees, with their long elegant leaves, blowing in the breeze on a (very warm) sunny day like today. The beauty of nature is quite overwhelming.
