Cornwall hedgerows

Fields of daffodils, hedgerows full of primroses, violets and three cornered leeks. That is what we love about Cornwall in early Spring.
As well as the gardens full of magnolias, camellias and rhododendrons.
This is what we look forward to every year, and we haven't been disappointed, even if the weather has been misty at times.

We have enjoyed our last day with a walk down to Prussia Cove.
One of our old haunts.
This is known for the 18th Century ship-wrecker and smuggler John Carter, one of England's most successful and notorious smugglers.
The film Ladies in Lavender with Judie Dench and Maggie Smith was filmed here.
I have put some photos up on extras.
You can see the old fisherman's huts, The rusty winding wheel no longer used to haul the boats up, and the house where the film was made.
Also some of the magnificent rock formations which make this area a Site of Special Scientific Interest.

Lastly I must say a big thank you for all your kind words stars and hearts for my 2000th blip yesterday.
You helped it reach Popular page one, and made me very happy. x
