Ingredients - Croissants

Croissants are an ingredient of our weekend breakfast - added in coffee and the Guardian Quick crossword and it's the perfect start to the weekend.
I have tried to make croissant once, looked ok but the texture was all wrong - had a better result with baking bagels, tasted great but couldn't get the hole to stay in!
