Shared breakfast

When you're desperate for a blip - there's always the bird feeder.  And it fits in with Hobbs' theme of colour.  Nothing brighter than the lorikeets in the sunshine.

So we have Mr. & Mrs. Galah - you can tell the difference by the eye colour - the red eye is Mrs. and the black eye is Mr.  These birds mate for life.  The lorikeets also mate for life, but it's impossible to work out which is Mr. and which is Mrs. just by looking.  I have to say I'm not that desperate to know, seeing that it either requires sexing by a vet, or by DNA taken from a feather.  So long as they can work it out for themselves!

On another subject entirely - since we got back from Melbourne Raj (the Siamese) is driving us crazy by constant (and I mean never-ending) yowling.  He never used to be like this.  Anyone got any ideas on how to stop him?  We're not keen on medication.
