Thunder

Today brought the first rain after winter. It made our Edinburgh rain look rather pathetic in comparison. Some seriously heavy duty hail stones ricocheted off he mini-bus as went inside for shelter. The whole place illuminated by the flashes of lightening all around. I thought about all the people we have seen whose lived in the tin huts and how horrific it must be. Our problems can seem so insignificant in comparison.

This is a picture near our day care centre of the ominous black cloud approaching just before the biblical rain erupted. The 27° heat of earlier this week seemed very distant as we worked in the cold and the wind. Thankfully managed to get almost everything done before the rain properly came. The girls started working on the mural on the wall and I finished off the inside of the classroom.

Can't believe its near the end. Been a great week.

Look back for a few blips from the last few days...
