The Three Brethren

We had a lovely walk to these three cairns today.

I've often heard of the Three Brethren - cairns dating back to the 16th Century marking the boundary of Yair and Philiphaugh estates and the Burgh of Selkirk and where the Selkirk Common Riding cavalcade rides to - but have never been up to them before. It was quite a windy day, but the sun shone and the view of the rolling hills was well worth the climb.
