Friday 7 September 2012: Overpass

A couple of months ago I put up a picture of the start of the overpass, and here I am doing it again.

It is going up really quickly and is going to look so different when it is done. Not the old South Road that we are used to. Which brings me to the thought, that we all remember the way things were, but we or our parents don't have pictures of it. I mean I know it is just a road, but it will make a huge difference to the way we drive on South Road, and why not have a few pictures to show how the overpass went up, we are lucky to be able to take photographs so easily, eg out of the car window, instantly.

I also kind of like the logistics of it too (the nerd in me) looking at how big each of the pieces are and how they weight bear them, and mathematical things like that.

Ok so now you know that I am a little bit crazy or very nerdy....discussing a road for two going on three paragraphs :) oh well. Happy Friday.
