Friday 7 September 2012: The Embassy wall

Following on from the last couple of days entries, I've continued exploring the wonderful artwork that has sprung up around the streets of Christchurch.

This beautiful mural, made even more stunning by the setting sun in a Nor'west sky, stands proud in Sydenham - in my opinion the suburb richest in public art right now.

The artist Wongi has completed some stunning works throughout the city. Check out www.wongi.co.nz for more examples.

I'll have a break from the murals and sculptures for the next few days as I return to the country. Can't wait...
