Very windy with sunshine then isolated heavy showers.

Golf competition with A today at Broomieknowe Ladies' Senior Open Greensomes. Always a big occasion. Howling gale made accuracy difficult and we were soaked by an isolated shower. Once again we were 1.5 strokes outside the prizes !! First meeting of Camera Club tonight. Lots of new faces ( five of whom joined on the night ) and the usual suspects.

Kenny the painter is doing a superb job in the main bedroom; stripping off the wallpaper, meticulously filling all the cracks and holes and hanging lining paper under the wallpaper ! He has uncovered a major crack in the ceiling where it meets the chimney breast and a damp patch on the plaster. Roofer coming on Monday.

Late home so this blip is my half finished staircase - in a way it's better not to have glass panels while the painting is going on and ladders being carried up and down the stairs.
