Interesting day.

We got up early so my better half could go to London to vote in the first round of the French Presidential Elections. I went for a bike ride - my voting duties are in June - managed a half decent 60 km ride. Loads of cyclist out on the roads, all very polite and I managed to say hello to an awful lot of them. While most car drivers understand the highway code there are always a few idiots who clearly have no idea how dangerous they are...

After a banana milkshake I went into the garden to take a few pictures. I wasn't sure which I liked best so there is a selection today. I rather like columbines/aquiligia so that's the main picture.

Now it's time to do a mountain (small hillock really) of ironing and watch something SciFi on TV while my better-half is out of the house.
