Water Closet...

Sans water!

Refurbing the WC.  This is the before photo (obviously :-) and the only one I took today.

Great excitement here today.  Our friend Gill (and ex-support worker of Alan) was coming for afternoon tea.  Between Alan being ill and her having surgery, we haven't seen her since Christmas.  Alan was beside himself at the prospect of spending time with her and understandable as she is such  bundle of fun.  He just about laughed himself hoarse at the stuff she was telling him :-))

We then spent the next couple of hours catching up and hearing all her news.  Honestly, her life is full of such twists and turns and hilarious ups and downs, it could be a soap opera.  My sides are sore from all the laughter.  

All too soon it was time for her to go but we have plans to get together again soon.  

David out tonight and after being full of good intentions to do a number of things, I dozed off!  

Looking forward to tomorrow as having a blip meet with a lovely blipper who I've never met before.  After living in Scotland for a number of years she's now returned to her own country but has a holiday home five minutes from us which she visits every year.  I can see this becoming an annual blip meet.

I just love how Blip brings people together whose paths would never have crossed otherwise.
