Saturday 8 September 2012: Stormy Day
I blipped this Damsel early this morning while the weather was fairly decent. Shortly after 3 p.m., the skies opened up and gave the Washington DC area a dose of ferocious weather. We were hunkered down in the basement with the 3 cats and dogs because a tornado was spotted in the area. Fortunately, other than power loss for us and 120,000 of our closest neighbors, there wasn't any extreme damage (at least yet reported). Just a lot of wind, rain, and fallen trees.
We are running on generator right now and have the essentials working: TV, DVD player, and of course the cable/ISP box... : ))
