Shadows in paradise

RIGHT HERE AND NOW, as an old friend used to say, we are in the fluid present, where clear-sightedness never guarantees perfect vision. And my present is consumed by fluid, water, of the unreliable kind.

Environmental health declined to return my call. Various water specialists are 'out' or 'busy' or 'will get back to me'.  So, we're boiling water and we have a stack of plastic bottles from Sainsbury's. This could run and run.

Angus manages some studying today, but declines judo in the evening. Claire went to work, was fine, but still felt a bit off. I'm fine, looking longingly at the sun from my laptop illuminated desk.

DX deign to deliver Angus' passport. Not to the house, of course. The driver insists we meet him at the bottom of the track.

I cook a tea that no one eats. Water the tunnel. Sleep.
