Skye - Day 3

Drove down to Elgol in glorious sunshine, past superb scenery, almost Norwegian in places.

Mike took the opportunity to go out in a RIB for a very exciting trip out to Canasunary.  Not a real boat you understand, it had no mast or sails(!), but it was too good a chance to miss. It was very much a spur of the moment decision, and it was a there and back rather than going ashore but for a chap who's used to sailing along relatively sedately, it was an exhilarating trip!

There was only one space left, so Ollie and I had a nice walk, explored the rocks, he had a dip in the sea and then we sat in the sunshine.  Mike came back frozen but grinning like a schoolboy!

Overnight at Torrin, on the shore, surrounded by sheep and lambs, next to a burn with waterfalls, holly bushes, banks of primroses and violets, and stunning views.  And we heard a cuckoo!

Took dozens of photos today.  Skye is a lovely, lovely place, and we will be sad to leave.
