Monday 10 September 2012: Hijab House
After work I went to Bankstown Square which was the first ever shopping mall/centre in Australia (according to Brent). He went there as a child for special occasions! It's holding up well and I like it as it's less bling than most. What wouldn't have been there 40 years ago would be a boutique catering for women that where the 'veil' or the 'hijab'. Bankstown has a very large (mainly Arabic) population.
